TechRepublic publishes article on RenderX XEP

TechRepublic, a CNET Networks publication and a leader in providing information and tools for IT decision support and professional advice by job function, published an article focusing on RenderX XEP and its potential use throughout the growing database reporting and personalized correspondence markets. Strategic Alliance with SchemaSoft

SchemaSoft and RenderX, Inc. today announced a strategic alliance that will focus on producing a best-in-class print engine based on XML and non-XML input data, and high quality print output in various formats. The joint solution from SchemaSoft and RenderX provides a system that enables organizations to process source documents, graphics or images of various formats using XSL FO (Extensible Stylesheet Language Formatting Objects), an open standard, and produce high quality print output.

EnMasse 1.3 Released

RenderX releases a new version of RenderX EnMasse, a server for high-performance formatting of XML documents. The new release includes XSL transformation on XEP nodes; examples of integrating EnMasse into Java Server Pages, ASP.NET environments, batch scripts for Microsoft operating systems; rewritten user's guide and installation instructions featuring case studies and detailed explanations.

Docbench Released

RenderX Docbench, a complete solution for documentation authors and stylesheets designers based on <oXygen/> XML editor and RenderX XEP, is available for purchase and downloading from RenderX on-line store. Software components included into the package are tuned to work together, and provide a complete authoring environment which allows users to author books, articles, leaflets, forms, and to format it for both on-screen and paged media.

Newest Version of XEP, Additional Software

RenderX announces release of a new line of publishing solutions. The solutions are based on the new version of RenderX XEP, Version 4, with many more features and performance improvements. Built on the foundation of XEP are "EnMasse", a scalable server for parallel processing of high volumes of formatting tasks and "Docbench", a complete authoring environment.

New Product Targets .NET Platform with Identical XSL Formatting Capabilities as RenderX's Java Version

RenderX, Inc. announced the availability of XEP.NET - an advanced XSL formatter component for the .NET environment. Germany-based ITERGO Informationstechnologie was an early adopter of the XEP.NET product. Using RenderX software, ITERGO developed an internet-based insurance application to support agents for the second largest German primary insurance company.
