VisualXSL 2.4 released

RenderX has released VisualXSL 2.4. This release includes support for Mvp.Xml EXSLT.NET module, support of document() XSLT function and bug fixes. The full list of improvements is below:

  • Support for Mvp.Xml EXSLT.NET module (http://mvp-xml.sourceforge.net/exslt/), providing with EXSLT support

VDPMill 3.4 released

RenderX has released VDPMill 3.4. This major release includes a GUI application for full job control, lots of usability improvements and bug fixes. The full list of improvements is below:

  • Job Monitor GUI application with the full control of jobs
  • Job priority support in Job Manager
  • Built-in installer of the latest EnMasse
  • Usability improvements in GUI applications:
    • Applying tickets directly from VDPMill Ticket Application
    • Save/Save As support in VDPMill Ticket/Interactive Applications
    • More informative messages on errors and parameter value validation
    • More flexible GUI layouts to display elements correctly on small screens

XEPWin 3.0 released

RenderX has released XEPWin 3.0. This major release comes with support for multiple rendering threads. A multi-threaded server environment enables better utilization of computational resources in multi-core processors. XEPWin 3.0 also supports .NET Framework 4. The Windows service configuration and XEPWin API also have been significantly improved. The full list of improvements is below:

EnMasse 2.3 released

RenderX has released EnMasse 2.3. This release comes with platform-independent and Windows specific distributions. The platform-independent version is the direct successor of the previous EnMasse supplemented with command-line installer and configuration script. The Windows version is a new Windows package with graphical installer, configuration editor and Windows service. The full list of improvements are:

  • Distutils based command-line installer (platform-independent version)
  • Post-install configuration tool (platform-independent version)
  • Improved startup scripts for EnMasse and CLISER engines
  • Graphical installer (Windows version)
  • Configuration editor with support of validation (Windows version)
  • Winmasse Windows service (Windows version)

VDPMill 3.3 released

RenderX has released VDPMill 3.3. This major release includes the following:

  • Job Manager to queue jobs and process them sequentially
  • XML-RPC interface to Job Manager (server application, client libraries)
  • Control Panel Application to run/stop/configure XML-RPC Server and EnMasse, and for job monitoring
  • VDPMill Ticket light-weight application to create VDPMill Job Tickets using an user-friendly interface
  • Sequence numbering plugin for page numbering using several criteria
  • Improved error handling on post-split XSLT
  • More informative messages in VDPMill Interactive Application

VDPMill 3.2 released

RenderX has released VDPMill 3.2. This major release comes with XML job ticket support as the main format for GUI application project files, customized post-processing (OMR, Transpromo) support for separated/joined output. API samples and documentation have been updated and some bugs fixed and minor improvements made. These include:

  • Sorting of the list of the input files by name/location/size/date modified
  • Processing log auto-scrolling
  • RenderX multi-product license key supported
  • AFP files generation improvements (resource file support)
  • Fixed bugs:
    • splitting options validation
    • configuration validation/loading
    • joined output file locking

VisualXSL 2.3.1 released

RenderX has released VisualXSL 2.3.1. This is a recommended bugfix release that includes several issues resolved, including:

  • Fixed severe problems with JavaScript for radiobuttons and action buttons in PDF forms;
  • Further improvements and bugfixes over Undo;
  • Fixed a display problem after changing frame orientation under certain conditions;
  • Fixed a problem of Z-Order property when multiple blocks are selected;
  • Fixed an issue with incorrectly relocated Table and Address frames;
  • Fixed an exception if browser preview window is no longer accessible under certain conditions;
  • Fixed several issues with multiple inlines within paragraphs;

VDPMill 3.1 released

RenderX has released VDPMill 3.1. This major release brings OMR and Transpromo support as well as other significant improvements:

  • The API now has a common plug-in interface for adding post-processing extensions;
  • Introduced OMR support;
  • Introduced Transpromo Support;
  • Added support for XEPOUT as input;
  • Generated output files list is available after pause/resume;
  • Support for adding local EnMasse configuration file from the control panel
  • Improved display of available output formats;
  • Fixed several problems, including saving splitter output options;

VisualXSL 2.3 released

RenderX has released VisualXSL 2.3. This major release brings new fillable PDF forms with JavaScript capability, new output formats. Here’s the complete list:

  • Significant improvements over fillable PDF Forms. Now they are built with RenderX XEP and support most features from XEP, including fields, submit buttons, checkboxes, radiobuttons, and more;
  • Added feature of editing JavaScript event handlers for PDF Forms, associated with controls, pages, and documents;
  • Added support for different output formats, depending on those available in XEP license;
  • Major improvements over Paragraph editor (modifying and deleting fields, formatting and aligning the inlines);
  • Address Blocks are now can be edited like normal paragraphs and have custom layout and additional fields within;
  • Improved Page Numbering widgets;
  • Improved moving frames with mouse and keyboard (Ctrl and Alt handling);
  • New samples and workflows in User Reference;

Also, several problems have been resolved including:

  • Fixed several problems with Table builder that prevented toolbar buttons working correctly;
  • Improved new and rotated items layout on a dynamic flow;
  • Temporary folder leakage (lost files) eliminated;
  • Several bugfixes with clipboard operations (Copy and Paste);
  • Fixed issues with traces on the layout;
  • Fixed critical error during Undo operation with paragraph and address blocks;
  • Fixed layout problems for very small frames;
  • Fixed an issue that prevented opening older versions of *.vxl files, and source files having CDATA elements;
  • Fixed problems with alignment, content deletion, and scaling within the paragraph editor;
  • Fixed several issues related to background image rendering;
  • Fixed a problem when tooltips remained on screen after the application was deactivated;
  • Improved logic of Inherit and Auto length values;
  • Fixed problems with incorrect image height in dynamic layout;
  • Minor bugfixes and code improvements;

XEP 4.18 released

RenderX has released 4.18. This major release brings a new backend, PPML as well as other significant improvements:

  • Additional support for document-level Javascript in PDF output, including such events as:
    • Document open, close
    • Object blur, focus, mousedown, mouseup, mouseenter, mouseexit
    • Document willclose, willsave, willprint, didprint
  • The XPS generator has been enhanced to support bookmarks
  • Multimedia objects in PDF are enhanced to support additional player controls (like play-mode, volume, duration) as well as being able to insert a poster file for the object in the PDF

A number of bugs have been fixed, including accented characters in some Type 1 fonts, word spacing in XHTML output, correct interpretation of stop-color in SVG gradients and proper positioning of diacritic marks in Thai vowel structure.

RenderX has released VDPMill 3.0. This major release brings a fully redesigned product containing significant improvements:

RenderX has released VisualXSL 2.2. This release includes several important improvements:

  • Major improvements over Table Builder; it is no longer an extra window but a regular control;
  • Improved visual appearance for text blocks in Design layout;
  • Added more examples in User's Guide;
  • Improved layout of the User's Guide (PDF and CHM versions);
  • Improved navigation (modal dialogs, keyboard shortcuts, etc);
