WinSuite Kit
|
|
WinSuite is a pre-built connector between the XEP Engine and .NET/COM+
ideally suited for Visual Basic.NET and ASP.NET applications.
|
|
XEP Engine
 |
 |
The WinSuite Kit enables XEP engine as a
Windows .NET Service and a COM+ service and registers the application in the assembly cache.
The Winsuite Kit includes:
-
Pre-built .NET/COM+ connector code which installs and connects to the XEP Engine
-
API documentation and Developer's Guide
-
Code samples illustrating the use of XEP in .NET applications
WinSuite includes two example applications. XEP Assistant is a GUI tool for selecting and
transforming single documents. It works by connecting to the Windows
Service and sending it XML/XSL pairs or XSL FO (XSLFO) data. ActiXEP is a
Windows hot folder service which allows you to set up directories that
provide drag-and-drop conversion services. Multiple folders
can be set-up, each with their own transformation scenarios. Of course, you
can configure general conversion services by using either XSL FO (XSLFO) files as input or
by using a style sheet link in your XML file.
The WinSuite Kit is the right choice if wish to integrate XEP on the Windows platform using
.NET or COM+ integration for Windows system applications and ASP.NET web applications.
