Guides and Manuals

RenderX products facilitate production of a wide variety of static documents such as educational materials, technical manuals, user guides, legislations, and books. These documents range from simple to extremely complex and can be thousands pages long.

Traditional Publishing

Docbench

EnMasse

RenderX has a variety of solutions to author, edit and publish documents. For casual use, a copy of Docbench can be installed on each workstation where these tasks are going to be performed. For high volume publishing or for larger workgroups, a copy of EnMasse can be installed on a dedicated network server. And of course, XEP formatting engines can be added to EnMasse as required if a higher throughput is required.

XEP Engine

<oXygen/> XML editor

<oXygen/> XML editor which is integrated into Docbench, is an XML editor used to create documents. With Docbench, RenderX bundles DocBook and TEI and other formats can be easily added. XEP Desktop, which comes in the Docbench bundle, handles the transformation to PDF for preview of a document in Adobe Acrobat Reader or for saving as the final format. Docbench could also be used to design and develop look and feel of the company's documents by using <oXygen/> XML editor to edit stylesheets, and XEP formatter to format documents for preview.

tions

EnMasse server is also capable of reformatting all documents in a batch mode with up-to-date versions of stylesheets. A simple script submits all documents to EnMasse, and EnMasse puts these documents in PDF into a dedicated folder.

Story: Zenteq

Keep in mind that a document does not have to be written only using <oXygen/> XML editor. RenderX has many co-installations with other leading XML editors. More information on some of the other editorial tools aligned with RenderX can be found on our partner pages.
